Mrs D Hickey has been teaching Tae Kwon Do for a number of years now, She started teaching the specially designed Children's Classes in Kidderminster over a year ago. Assisted by Mr P Hickey they have classes at Holy Trinity School and St Johns Middle School. Catering for young Children from 4 - 6 and 7 - 11 years old.
Mrs Hickey has been training in Tae kwon do for about 8 years, competing in Many National and International Tournaments she has been successful and has held titles including British Champion, English Champion in both Patterns and sparring and won gold in the World cup in Poland in 2001. Mr Hickey is no stranger to competition either winning many trophies and medals at National tournaments including silver at the world cup in 2001 and more recently won Silver at the European Championships in January 2007.
Both Mr and Mrs Hickey still occasionally compete but concentrate on, and now devote there time to, teaching future champions. They are both fully qualified umpires, first aid trained and hold full insurance and qualifications to teach tae kwon do.
